Freddie Manint
Freddie Manint served in the United States Marine Corps in a special operations reconnaissance platoon and has eighteen-years in private and public service. He started his law enforcement career at the local, and State level, then moved on to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, working in the New Orleans field office and later promoted to FBI Headquarters. He worked on several nationally recognized and significant cases, including Deep Water Horizon, and was a member of the distinguished FBI Evidence Response and Post Blast Team as well as the Hazardous Materials and Weapons of Mass Destruction Reaction Teams.
Manint is a credentialed Cyber Investigator, currently acting as a key advisor to a multi-agency criminal investigative task force with concentrations in high-tech crimes, including child pornography, cyber terrorism, espionage, computer intrusions and other major cyber frauds. He currently holds selected seats on both the (IJIS) Integrated Justice Information Systems Institute Standards Council Committee and the National IJIS Security Council and a member of the FBI’s national Infragard committee. He is also a distinguished advisor with Guidepoint International, a global consulting firm.
He is the author of numerous publications related to physical and technical security issues for both national and international public safety agencies. He has served as an advisor and guest speaker at multiple national events, emphasizing physical and technical security through social diligence, awareness and vigilance in our constantly changing high-tech world. Freddie is a graduate of NTC in information warfare and holds a master’s certificate from Booth College APBM. Freddie is also a graduate of Savannah River National Laboratory with a concentration in fissile material and a Graduate of the FBI’s leadership Development school.
